Sneaker Style

I've always been a sneaker gal myself, so I'm loving this season's trend of pairing them with everything.    Suddenly Nike's aren't just for running anymore.   They look great with jeans, shorts or paired with a skirt.   Anything goes.  How are you wearing your sneakers this summer?

Rocking a Rashguard- summer's newest trend

Living on the California coast, I spend a lot of time at the beach surfing, so rash guards are nothing new to me.  But over the last few years, every one seems to be getting in on the trend, from J. Crew to Trina Turk and Shopbop.    Traditionally worn by surfers, they've become a fashion staple for a day in the sun.  Here are a few of my favorites to help you channel the Blue Crush look.

1.   J.Crew has a great selection of colorful ones to choose from.

2.  I love this indigo top with the shirring at the side.  You can find it at Everything But the Water.

3.   You can never go wrong with Trina Turk.

4.   This rash guard by Carve Designs at Zappos has 99%  UVA/ UVBprotection.

5.    Seaa is a made here in California.  Her collection of rash guards and surf suits are amazing.

It's officially summer! Well almost, right?

Even though tomorrow is officially summer, I'm kicking it off tonight with a group of friends. We're meeting for a late afternoon surf and then chilling by a bonfire.  Sounds perfect right?
